Identity Builder
In China, rare disease patients often face stigma, isolation, and a lack of community support, despite millions being affected. To address this, a procedural art generator was developed that transforms scientific data on thousands of rare diseases into unique visual identities, giving patients a symbol of visibility, legitimacy, and connection. This initiative empowers individuals to feel seen, reduces shame, and helps foster a supportive community around rare diseases.
