Sara Price: Chasing Dakar is a three-part documentary series made by Warner Bros. Discovery with Defender, following American driver Sara Price through the 2026 Dakar Rally, the year Defender made its debut at the race with the Dakar D7X-R in the Stock class for production-based vehicles. A 17-time national motocross champion who sold her home and drained her savings to race on four wheels, Price set out to become the first American woman to win the class. Filmed with unrestricted access to the Defender Rally team, the series moves from her rise in motocross and the team's preparation, to being stranded just 100 km into the 8,000 km race, through penalties, repairs and the first marathon stage, to a second-week push for the podium across the Saudi dunes. Teammates Stéphane Peterhansel and Rokas Baciuška appear alongside her, and Gillian Anderson narrates. A first 45-minute episode aired on Eurosport and TNT Sports on 3 January 2026, before the race. The full series launched on TNT Sports and HBO Max in the UK and Ireland on 15 May 2026, then went out on Discovery Channel in the US, Eurosport across Europe and WBD channels in Latin America in June.
