Making of The Unhinged Casting Call
An open casting call where everyone who showed up got the part — and the process itself became the work. For Unhinged’s first campaign, The Circle co-founders Jeph Burton and Hunter Hampton (with co-director Anthony Tripoli) turned New York callbacks into a three-camera, catch-it-as-it-happens shoot: improvisation over scripts, instruments destroyed instead of played, and performances pushed until the room went off the rails. This making-of covers how that messy, partner-led production came together — the directors’ note, the vendor squad brought in early (Noted Collective, Barking Owl, Trim Editing, Blacksmith, Shay Nielsen Casting, photographer Brendan Wixted), and the stills that document the casting floor — rather than the finished launch film.
