The Mayes - Doors
The Mayes follows Drake Maye and Ann Michael Maye through their first stretch as homeowners in New England, told entirely from one vantage point: their front door. Season after season the couple steps through the same doorway — hauling in moving boxes, hanging art, coming home in the rain, heading out in tennis whites, welcoming winter and meeting the curveballs of a new house like a fallen tree limb and a plumbing leak — with each pass revealing another small high or low of a life in transition. Mixing humor, warmth and the occasional mishap, the 60-second film for Amica uses the door as a simple, repeatable device for everything life brings home, landing on the line "Whatever comes through the door, with Amica, you're ready." The spot launches Amica's new partnership with the couple.
