Turning an unwanted diagnosis into a source of genuine connection, Cancer Chicks’ “The Best Worst Club” creates a community for young women navigating cancer and severe chronic illness. Developed with The General Store, the platform addresses the isolation that can accompany diagnosis, built on the insight that sometimes the people who know what to say are those who have experienced it themselves. The central idea captures that emotional contradiction: nobody wants to qualify for Cancer Chicks, but once they do, they find a club they can rely on through peer support, events, practical programs and advocacy. Led by an intimate hero film featuring the warmth, resilience and camaraderie of the community, alongside a new club-inspired visual identity, the campaign positions Cancer Chicks as a place of understanding, confidence and hope when conventional support can fall short.
