Cathay Pacific’s “Asia Just Got Closer” campaign, created with Publicis London in collaboration with Bria, introduces Artfair by Bria—an ethical AI art platform designed to connect brands with artists while ensuring consent, credit, and fair compensation. The campaign launches with a large-scale mural in East London, created in the distinctive style of artist Oliver Barrett and produced through AI trained only on his licensed work, before being hand-painted as a physical installation. Extending the experience beyond the wall, audiences can scan a QR code to generate their own artwork in Barrett’s style, with selected pieces later exhibited at Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Framed around Cathay Pacific’s network of Asian and Australian destinations, the activation blends travel, public participation, and AI creativity into a shared cultural experience, positioning ethical AI as a way to expand artistic reach without compromising authorship or control.
