Snail No More
CityFibre, the UK's largest independent full fibre platform, has launched its second integrated campaign aimed at highlighting the drawbacks of using legacy broadband networks at home in 2023. The campaign urges consumers to upgrade to CityFibre's network, currently expanding to cover up to 8 million UK homes. The advert creatively portrays the frustration of having an unreliable and slow connection, featuring a family donning giant snail shells to symbolize the burdensome nature of bad broadband. The campaign includes a TV advert on Sky AdSmart and ITVX, targeted to residents in CityFibre’s coverage area, along with digital, social, OOH, direct mail, and email components. The nationwide full fibre network rollout, passing over 3 million premises, is utilized by over 30 consumer Internet Service Providers. CityFibre's continued growth includes the successful launch of the UK’s first wholesale 2.5Gbps symmetrical consumer broadband earlier this year. The campaign, created by New Commercial Arts, aims to make CityFibre's network more appealing to consumers looking for an upgraded broadband experience.
