Here's The Thing
“Here’s The Thing” is a critique of modern social expectations, media-driven culture, and the contradictions of contemporary life. The lyrics come across like a list of societal “truths” or clichés being questioned or dismantled. The song uses repetition and a mantra-like delivery to emphasize how we're constantly being told what to do, how to think, or what to believe, often with little room for individual agency.
