Fundación Stefano’s Car Parts for Life campaign, developed with De La Cruz/Ogilvy, creatively raises awareness about organ donation in Puerto Rico by using vehicles with spare parts as a mass communication medium. Inspired by Stefano Steenbakkers—a young car enthusiast whose organ donation saved five lives after his tragic death—the initiative features installations at Plaza del Caribe and Plaza Las Américas, where QR-coded car parts share real-life success stories. By turning a common sight on Puerto Rican roads into a powerful symbol of hope, the campaign honors past donors and encourages others to make the life-saving choice to register.
