At Your Door
This project emerged under unusual circumstances—a fast-assembled team with diverse expertise working against a tight deadline. What began as a high-pressure motion design brief quickly shifted when the event it was intended for was postponed, leaving a collection of vibrant, funky styleframes without a deadline. The team turned this into a studio exploration, aiming to develop a unique visual style difficult to replicate with AI prompts as of June 2025. The creative process became a collaborative cadavre exquis, with each team member adding perspective while maintaining a cohesive direction. The result is a bold mix of flat vectors and soft-touch 3D, layered with textures that break digital perfection, saturated colors, stylized forms, expressive characters, and theatrical poses—crafting a fresh, pop, and deliberately unpolished visual language. The work tells a colorful story about food and movement, reflecting both the simple act of a delivery service and the creative energy of collaborative teamwork. Beyond the motion piece, assets inspired by the exploration were adapted into skeuomorphic icons using Spline, allowing the R&D team to test new tools and evaluate solutions for potential integration into digital products like websites and apps.
