Young Again, Never Again
Liberation75’s “Young Again, Never Again” campaign by TBWA\Canada addressed Holocaust misinformation among youth, with one in three North Americans believing it was exaggerated or fabricated. To make survivors’ stories impossible to ignore, the team used AI to “age back” five Holocaust survivors into children, combining restored childhood photos with voice manipulation so they could retell their experiences as their younger selves. These compelling narratives were integrated into lesson plans, print assets, and direct mail to Canadian ministers, urging Grade 6 Holocaust education. The campaign successfully secured a mandate in Manitoba and reinforced Ontario’s existing program, ensuring survivors’ stories resonate with young audiences while advancing Liberation75’s mission to foster a kinder, more informed world.
