The Ministry of Education is the New Zealand Government's lead advisor on the education system. Their core purpose is to shape an education system that delivers equitable and excellent outcomes for all New Zealand’s children. Oat the Goat is an interactive tale designed to help stop bullying in New Zealand’s primary schools. We helped change the way schools talk about bullying. Unlike past campaigns that focused on the bully and the victim, we switched our focus, and for the first time unlocked the power of bystanders. Just days after launching, Oat the Goat made the front-page news, garnered the attention of families, and became a classroom staple. Today over 85% of New Zealand 4-7 year-olds have read Oat the Goat.
