Produced for Numéro Magazine, “Adrift” is a fashion film directed by Arthur Valverde that explores drift as a psychological and emotional state between day and night. Set around a solitary phone booth in a desert landscape, the film follows a single woman across two parallel inner temporalities, connected through fluid camera movements, movement-led editing, and fragmented dialogue. Shot in an Unreal XR studio with virtual environments by La Planète Rouge, the project blends physical and digital worlds to create a poetic meditation on solitude, desire, and transition, using fashion, sound, and motion as narrative tools rather than linear storytelling.
