Connected Conservation
One New Zealand temporarily rebrands itself as “Twos NZ” for Conservation Week, turning a cheeky joke about “ones and twos” into an attention-grabbing campaign for environmental protection. Created to spotlight the brand’s partnership with New Zealand’s Department of Conservation, the initiative promotes the new “Connected Conservation” programme, which uses smart sensors and satellite connectivity to monitor remote DOC facilities, wastewater systems, and wildlife activity. By combining humor with meaningful technology, the campaign makes conservation more accessible and memorable, positioning One NZ as a brand using connectivity to help protect some of the country’s most remote natural spaces.
