Director Lucrecia Taormina, from PRETTYBIRD, helms a new fashion campaign for Oxfam, celebrating the organization's legacy in second-hand clothing and its prominent position in the burgeoning market. Crafted by creative agency Dentsu Creative, the film, directed by Taormina through PRETTYBIRD, depicts a young woman pondering her outfit choices for a night out. She soon realizes that Oxfam holds the key and confidently struts down the catwalk in an array of outfits sourced from the charity. The visually captivating advert employs motion tracking VFX to seamlessly transition between different styles as the model continues her stride, showcasing Oxfam's timeless fashion offerings across the decades. The campaign culminates with the tagline '75 Years of Second Hand Style'. Amidst the rapid growth of the second-hand clothing market, driven by consumers seeking affordability and sustainability, Oxfam stands out as both a pioneer and a leading brand in the sector. Stylist Celia Arias curated every look featured in the film, all of which are available for purchase. As a founding member of the Ad Net Zero initiative, sustainability is a cornerstone of the Dentsu network. Therefore, Dentsu Creative undertook this campaign pro bono, collaborating with Taormina and PRETTYBIRD to achieve its stylish aesthetic. The film will be showcased across digital and social platforms. This marks Taormina's first advertising campaign since joining PRETTYBIRD in August. Her reputation as a rising director was cemented when she received the Best Pop Newcomer award at the 2019 UKMVA’s.
