Do you Know What Keeps our Children up at Night?
To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, youth charity Power The Fight collaborated with London agency Tms and production company My Accomplice to launch a 60-second film, directed by Akwasi Poku, highlighting the anxiety experienced by children and young people affected by violence. The film portrays teenagers struggling to sleep, haunted by violence in their imaginations and on social media, demonstrating the mental health implications of violence. It emphasizes alarming statistics and is part of a fundraising effort for Power The Fight's mental health initiative, TIP (Therapeutic Intervention for Peace), aimed at delivering workshops and toolkits to young people, families, and practitioners in local communities. tms, in collaboration with My Accomplice and Akwasi, developed the script, narrative, and creative direction to overcome barriers to fundraising around violence affecting young people.
