Housed in four reimagined 1970s train carriages, Inspiration is part celebration, part education, and part recruitment campaign, offering nearly 30 curated, hands-on exhibits that blend history, interactivity, and futuristic storytelling. The experience includes Railway Firsts, showcasing pivotal rail innovations; Wonderlab on Wheels, where families explore the science of movement; Your Railway Future, which highlights modern rail careers from drone pilots to environmental strategists; and a Partner Zone for local collaborations and evolving displays. Designed with accessibility and inclusivity at its core, Inspiration will stop at 60 destinations and is also available online via virtual tour. Ed Brooke of Leith called it “an exhibition on rails” that moves people both literally and emotionally, while Railway 200’s Emma Roberts emphasized the campaign’s focus on rail’s enduring role in shaping communities, innovation, and opportunity.
