SAS Brand Identity
After almost 80 years in the air and on the edge of a new chapter, with new owners and a new alliance, Scandinavian Airlines refreshed its brand to look more confident and energetic without giving up the equity it had built. The work, developed over six months by a hybrid Oslo and Stockholm team, centred on the idea of trusting the brand's heroes. The iconic SAS logotype is enlarged into a graphic element in its own right, often cropped and filling whole surfaces, and a sharp new electric blue sits alongside the calmer heritage blue. Refined typography and a minimal toolkit carry the system across billboards, digital channels, the app and the onboard experience.
