Using an intentionally mismatched employee to demonstrate the consequences of a bad hire, SEEK’s latest “SEEK and You Shall Find” campaign positions its AI-powered recruitment tools as a practical advantage for time-poor small businesses. Created by Droga5 ANZ, the mockumentary-style work follows Ricky, a lovable wrestler who finds himself spectacularly out of place working in an antiques store, humorously illustrating how the wrong person can disrupt a small business. Against this scenario, the campaign highlights SEEK tools including AI-assisted job ad writing, candidate recommendations and Talent Search, showing how technology can help SMEs identify and connect with suitable candidates more efficiently. By combining a memorable fish-out-of-water story with tangible recruitment solutions, the campaign makes the cost of a poor match entertainingly clear while reinforcing SEEK’s promise to help businesses find the right person for the job.
