Innovation Takes on Urban Growth: Validating Project Desirability
Sidewalk Labs is an Alphabet company that imagines, designs, tests, and builds urban innovations to help cities meet their biggest challenges. The company is designing a new kind of mixed-use, complete community on Toronto’s waterfront called Sidewalk Toronto. Following its own exploratory research to generate hypotheses on the notion of flexible housing, the company partnered with Nurun to conduct confirmatory research that would confirm or overturn these assumptions before the project advanced any further.
