The Nature Rating
Super, Natural British Columbia has launched a global campaign, “Let The Outside In,” alongside a first-of-its-kind digital tool, The Nature Rating, created with Zulu Alpha Kilo. The Nature Rating analyses the media people consume—films, shows, books, and songs—using AI and natural language processing to assign a score out of 10 based on nature content, recommending highly rated titles and simple ways to connect with nature in daily life. The initiative responds to research showing younger generations feel disconnected from the outdoors, with Gen Z and Millennials spending days without stepping outside. Complementing the tool, the campaign film contrasts modern screen-mediated life with British Columbia’s natural beauty—waterfalls, mountains, wildlife, and wilderness adventures—inviting viewers to reconnect with nature and improve wellbeing, encapsulated in the message: “Let the Outside In.”
