COCO x The Doubters
LOBO and The Martin Agency teamed up with UPS and tennis champion Coco Gauff to bring the brand into the vibrant world of anime, positioning UPS as a champion of small business owners, especially Gen Z entrepreneurs. Coco, known for her unstoppable spirit, battles a gang of cynical critters on the court, mirroring the determination of young business owners striving for success. Since nearly half of Gen Z loves anime, the campaign embraced its dynamic style, turning Coco and real-life entrepreneurs into anime characters while maintaining the authenticity of tennis. The animated sequences, created with Oscar-nominated director Thierry Marchand, followed traditional anime techniques, while LOBO also handled the live-action scenes filmed in Miami. Beyond the film, the campaign extended to high-resolution artwork used in UPS packaging, ensuring a cohesive and immersive experience.
