Vitality has launched a new life insurance campaign with its creative agency VCCP, showcasing data that reveals how having Vitality insurance can help extend life by up to five years. Building on the success of its “Move Forward with Vitality” platform, the campaign, “Life’s Pretty Good,” redefines life insurance by offering more than protection—providing a pathway to a longer, healthier, and more fulfilling life. At the heart of the campaign is a 30-second film featuring Stanley, the charismatic dachshund who has represented Vitality for the past decade. Directed by Jim Gilchrist, the ad shows Stanley cruising in a bright pink Cadillac as the British public engages in activities like running and cycling, emphasizing the connection between getting active and living longer. The campaign highlights findings from a seven-year study of 465,000 Vitality members, peer-reviewed by the London School of Economics, which showed that transitioning from an inactive to an active lifestyle could reduce mortality by up to 57%, equivalent to adding five years to life expectancy. Even small increases in activity—such as being active one or two days a week—could boost life expectancy by over two years, demonstrating the profound impact of even minor lifestyle changes.
