Missing Managers
Xbox, Sky Sports, and Football Manager launched the “Missing Managers” campaign to help close the gender gap in football coaching by turning in-game success into real-world opportunities for aspiring female managers. Female players complete challenges in Football Manager 26, with successful participants earning fully funded UEFA coaching courses and experience at WSL clubs, while also appearing as playable coaches in future editions of the game. Fronted by US Women’s National Team coach Emma Hayes, the integrated campaign spans broadcast, digital, and social channels, creating visibility, providing tangible career pathways, and demonstrating how gaming can drive real impact in sport.
