The Trailer
CANAL+ has long been a cultural force, and "The Trailer" cinematically celebrates its bold 40-year history of groundbreaking milestones. From fending off takeover attempts by Silvio Berlusconi and being the first French channel to air late-night adult content, to building French football into a national passion, challenging authority with Les Guignols de l’Info, and financing Oscar-winning films, CANAL+ has always pushed boundaries. The campaign also highlights its defiance during the COVID lockdown by removing the paywall and its role in aggregating global streaming giants like Netflix, Apple TV+, and HBO Max. “The Trailer” not only showcases these feats but immerses viewers in the question, “What if the greatest series is the one you’ve been living for 40 years?” Launched on November 3rd, 2024, across major French networks and digital platforms, this campaign, produced by BETC Paris, promises to generate over 452 million impressions.
