Highlighting that a third of shooting survivors suffer from PTSD that disrupts sleep, the toy serves as a stark, literal wake-up call for lawmakers who have failed to act. Students from Newtown, including a Sandy Hook survivor, are partnering with Change the Ref to deliver the toys and a message to every Republican Senator in Washington, D.C., from July 22–24.
