Built around the idea that young adults are overwhelmed by performative wellness trends, AI-driven content, and social media “noise,” the campaign uses humour and satire to encourage audiences to step back and enjoy carefree moments instead. A series of films depict exaggerated online personas—such as an AI life coach and a wellness influencer—who are disrupted by the arrival of “Mr. Somersby,” a laid-back character who restores simplicity and enjoyment. Rolling out across TV, digital, social, and retail, the platform also introduces Somersby Zero, reinforcing a stripped-back positioning with “zero alcohol, zero sugar, zero calories, zero bullshit.” The work extends into social-first content with We Are Social, further amplifying the brand’s irreverent tone and positioning Somersby as a light-hearted escape from modern-day digital excess.
