Love Letter
Cineplex’s “Love Letter” campaign is an emotional brand film created to welcome audiences back to movie theatres after pandemic closures, celebrating the unique magic of the big-screen experience. Developed with agency Zulu Alpha Kilo as part of the platform “Where Escape Begins,” the campaign positions cinema as a rare moment of true escape—contrasting it with the distractions of at-home viewing. Shot almost entirely using the light of the screen itself, the film captures the shared, sensory experience of moviegoing—from laughter and suspense to silence and awe—reminding audiences of what they’ve missed. Supported by social, OOH, radio, and in-theatre placements, the campaign reframes cinemas as a space to disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with collective storytelling.
