The Scent Mag
Natura, in partnership with Africa Creative, launched The Scent Mag—an innovative olfactory test embedded in its widely circulated product catalog in Brazil. The test features 20 unconventional scents like cheese and bacon, combined with a questionnaire to help detect early signs of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. Loss of smell is a known early indicator, often appearing years before more visible symptoms. The initiative aims to raise awareness and encourage early medical consultation, especially since only 10% of cases are diagnosed, with women making up 70% of those affected.
