IBM AI Sports Club at the Park turned Madison Square Park into a four-day US Open fan zone across from IBM’s new One Madison Avenue headquarters. From September 4–7, 2025, New Yorkers could watch the semis and finals on a communal amphitheater screen, play watsonx-powered table tennis in Calling the Shots with live AI commentary and personalized stats, and take on generative AI trivia — no stadium ticket required. A live taping of Served with Andy Roddick opened the weekend, while a modular Spacecube pavilion wrapped the park in IBM blue. The activation drew 565,000+ park visitors, 4,200+ table-tennis players, 1.3M+ content impressions, and a reported 50% lift in AI awareness.
