Ain’t in LA
Directed by Fred Gervais and produced by Scheme Engine, Adéla’s “Ain’t in LA” is a celebration of Slovakia and a playful challenge to the idea that success and pop culture belong to Los Angeles. Filmed in Bratislava, the video blends recognisable city locations with intimate family moments, LGBTQ+ nightlife and young Slovaks dancing in traditional folk outfits. The result is a confident, energetic portrait of contemporary Slovak identity and a reminder that you don’t have to come from a major city to stand out.
