Allstate has launched new spots as part of the “Check First” campaign, using the passion, rituals and distractions of college football to encourage fans to review their insurance coverage and rates. The films explore humorous game-day scenarios, including superstitious BYU fans locking a friend on a balcony, a Penn State supporter caught pretending to be sick to attend the White Out game, and a fan whose excitement at a swim meet causes an unexpected chain reaction. Running across TV and other football fan touchpoints including video games, broadcasts, stadiums and radio, the campaign makes insurance shopping more culturally relevant while extending Allstate’s long-standing connection to college sports.
