Coral leans into retro arcade nostalgia with a playful campaign celebrating the relaunch of its “Rewards Grabber” platform. Inspired by 1980s gaming culture, the campaign transforms everyday modern settings into surreal neon-soaked fantasy worlds filled with pixel aesthetics, exaggerated fashion and over-the-top humour. Directed by Ben Dean, the film embraces the escapism and excitement associated with classic arcade games, using glitch effects, freeze-frame choreography and vibrant visuals to recreate the feeling of stepping into an ’80s game universe. Built around the insight that players are united by the thrill of rewards, the work extends Coral’s “We’re Here For It” platform by turning free-to-play gaming into a colourful entertainment experience rooted in nostalgia, humour and shared excitement.
