Macsterpiece
For World Art Day 2023, Kraft Dinner asked why macaroni art never hangs in elite galleries — then commissioned mosaic artist Jason Mecier to build a ~30,000-noodle Macsterpiece. OOH mac-art recreations of classics went up near Toronto museums and galleries, Instagram opened a debate on whether mac art is real art, the piece landed on the steps of the AGO, and limited-edition KD boxes became blank canvases for fans. On about $20K the campaign pulled roughly 8.5 million earned media impressions and a new wave of macaroni artists.
