London Run House Docuseries
This London Marathon weekend, New Balance launched London Run House, a community-focused space celebrating the diverse people who shape London’s running culture, from first-time marathoners to established running crews. Built around the idea that “if you run, you belong,” the activation brings together athletes and communities across the city during the London Marathon weekend, highlighting connection as much as performance. At its core is a documentary series following running crews across boroughs like Greenwich, Battersea, Tower Hamlets and Lewisham as they prepare for race day through training sessions, cultural runs, and shared rituals, blending cinematic footage with runners’ own recordings to capture the emotional build-up to the start line. The project is complemented by a portrait series documenting local running communities, reinforcing the idea that the city’s running culture is driven as much by everyday groups and shared identity as by elite athletes.
