P&G’s Spruce weed killer brand introduced “Bruce the Spruce Dog,” the first mascot for a weed killer, as part of its ‘Mascot Madness’ campaign. Created by Raindrop, the campaign features Bruce facing off against NCAA dog mascots to highlight Spruce as a pet-friendly yet weed-killing solution. The campaign launched with short digital spots running across connected TV, YouTube, and programmatic placements during the March/April college basketball season.
