The Great Wilderness Car Wash
Destination BC, in partnership with Zulu Alpha Kilo, launched "The Great Wilderness Car Wash" in Hamburg, Germany, an immersive activation aimed at inspiring German travelers to explore Northern BC. Given Germans' passion for cars and car washes, the activation transformed a routine car wash into a sensory journey through BC’s rugged wilderness, featuring 3D projections, high-definition visuals, and synchronized soundscapes. The experience showcased the region's natural beauty, including Indigenous cultural elements, with effects like northern lights on windshields and the intensity of BC's storms. Supported by radio, digital, and OOH content, the five-day event marked a key moment in Destination BC's global tourism strategy, which highlights the province's iconic regions.
